From our own booth, which we shared with Intertech Vision ME, through to the booths of Emerson, Genetec and Dubai Civil Defense: Barco seemed to be everywhere at last week’s Intersec Middle East. While our business partners and customers demoed our OL and OBLX solutions, we showcased how our OpSpace operator workspace solution redefines control rooms – for much better decision-making.

Raise operator efficiency
Intersec 2017 was the second Middle East event this year where we put our OpSpace operator workspace solution in the spots. In addition, the Intertech Vision/Barco booth featured our seamless, curved collaboration video wall (OSV 350C HB), driven by ultra-bright laser-phosphor projection technology and a touch interface to make it the right fit for any meeting room!

Both OpSpace and the OSV HB wall brought the future of control rooms closer to the Intersec visitors. With an exploding number of sources and applications to control and ever more people to collaborate with – both internally and remotely –, today’s control room operators are under extreme pressure. OpSpace and our high-brightness collaboration wall help them work more efficiently, which enhances decision-making … With visitors from 127 countries, Intersec Middle East was definitely the right place to spread this message!
