LAS VEGAS – At the InfoComm trade show today, Beaverton, Oregon-based Biamp introduced a new line of its Voltera™ family of networked amplified loudspeaker controllers (ALCs), the Voltera D M series. Featuring an integrated TesiraFORTÉ™ digital signal processor (DSP), the Voltera D M seamlessly combines amplification and processing into a single cost-effective, networked solution ideal for small-to-medium sized venues such as hotels, restaurants, retailers, and houses of worship.
Available in five models, the new Voltera D M series now offers the full performance of a standalone DSP, completely built into the 1 RU chassis. Voltera D M advanced DSP capabilities ensure ample headroom for hosting full Tesira-based systems previously unavailable in this segment.
“Voltera D M dramatically simplifies installations, providing a complete system in one box—that means fewer products to handle, configure, and assemble, reducing overall deployment time and effort,” said Joe Andrulis, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Biamp. “For organizations that have multiple but similar spaces, such as a chain of stores or restaurants, the Voltera D M line is easily scalable, excels at reducing downtime and improving automation, and results in enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within a cost-effective package.”
Designed to provide a faster, simpler — and more affordable — path to quality audio, Voltera D M requires fewer devices to connect and configure and less cable to run. Used with Tesira software, Voltera D M offers excellent control, source selection, and networking capabilities to accommodate a variety of AV scenarios.
To further streamline installation and management, the Voltera D M is also compatible with VenueTune software. This software provides even more control within a staged workflow to guide system designers and installers. The software also tracks critical metrics, such as performance monitoring and usage logging, empowering IT personnel, AV pros, and venue managers to continuously optimize performance.
